We know that when you’re buying a designer item, authenticity is everything — and we take that seriously.

At Girl Seazon, every designer bag and accessory is carefully inspected before being listed for sale. We have also invested in access to Entrupy’s authentication technology, allowing us to provide an additional layer of verification for eligible designer pieces.

Entrupy Authentication

For eligible designer bags, we use the official Entrupy authentication app to carry out a detailed authentication check.

Using Entrupy’s technology, we capture microscopic images of specific areas of the item. These images are analysed against Entrupy’s authentication technology and reference data to assess the item's authenticity.

Once the authentication process is completed, an Entrupy Digital Certificate of Authenticity can be issued through the Entrupy system.

The certificate is sent digitally via email and can be used to verify the authentication of the item through the official Entrupy platform.

This gives our customers an additional level of confidence when purchasing vintage and pre-owned designer bags from Girl Seazon.

How We Ensure Authenticity

Before an item is listed, we carefully examine the bag or accessory, including:

Materials – Leather, fabric, lining and other materials are inspected for quality, texture and characteristics consistent with the original design.

Stitching – We examine stitching, construction and craftsmanship for consistency with the brand.

Hardware – Zippers, clasps, buckles and other hardware are checked for their finish, engravings, construction and overall characteristics.

Logos & Labels – Logos, labels, typography and branding details are carefully examined for accuracy and placement.

Serial Numbers & Date Codes – Where applicable, serial numbers, date codes and other identifying details are checked against the characteristics expected for the specific item.

Overall Construction – We assess the bag as a whole, including its shape, proportions, interior details and construction.

For eligible items, we then use our Entrupy authentication app as an additional verification step.

Your Entrupy Digital Certificate

When an item has been authenticated through Entrupy, the Entrupy Digital Certificate of Authenticity is issued through the official Entrupy system.

The certificate is delivered digitally via email and provides a convenient way for you to retain and verify the authentication of your purchase.

Where an item has been authenticated through Entrupy, this will be clearly stated on the relevant Girl Seazon product listing.

Please note that Entrupy authentication is available for eligible items and is not necessarily applied to every item we sell.
